Styling

So I'm just starting to realize the the clothes you wear for your photoshoot..... MAKE your photoshoot! Nicki had her family styled so cute! I love a pop of color with a neutral palate! People always ask me what they should wear, and I used to be so confused by that question, I always thought, just wear what you like. But now I'm realizing that I love styling my clients, so when you book a shoot with me, expect me to tell you to bring an armful of clothes with you. Thanks for the light bulb moment Nicki!

Hi, thanks for coming!

Have you ever met someone that you were just unexplainably drawn to? Three weeks ago I met a photographer that changed my life, my whole way of thinking, and certainly the way I will approach every photo I create from now on. He was so genuine, like he didn't have any of the social walls that we put up as adults. He didn't have judgement in his eyes. And he treated me, in a sea of thousands of people, like I was the only person he cared about. And it touched me more deeply than anything has in a long time. I decided right then and there that I could never be the same. I would never be satisfied with "cheese" smile again. I care about people too much. I care about relationships too much. So my new goal as a photographer is to draw you out. The real you. The you without the walls that you put up for the rest of the world. Because the real you is beautiful! Whatever shape, size, color. People love the real you. I want to know you too! And I want to photograph the real you!
